Enjoying an incredibly snowy day with yet another viewing of Yellow Submarine. My daughter can even tell who's who with the costumes on. One of my favorite 5.1 mixes in the movie is George's seriously underated song Only A Northern Song. Unfortunately George Martin didn't think it was up to snuff and left it off of Sgt. Pepper. Listen for McCartney's debut on trumpet, playing two parts, one heard in the center channel and a more frantic, higher part in the surround channels.
