With this week's Beatles Multi-Track Meltdown we delve into McCartney's masterpiece The Fool On The Hill with a stripped mix of piano, acoustic guitar, vocals, finger cymbals, drums and recorder. Without the overdubbed flutes, harmonica and bass one can really hear the moving piano part. Listen for the acoustic guitar flub at 0.51. The video is culled from Magical Mystery Tour outtakes, footage of Paul on an African safari, John and George on The Frost Programme, all four Beatles with the Maharishi and the group at TVC studios during the making of Yellow Submarine.
